FAREWELL TO TOTEMS TOTURQUOISE

Nearly 20,000 visitors viewed this important exhibition over its five months at the Vancouver Museum. Vancouver was the only Canadian stop for this show of Native North American Jewellery of the Northwest and Southwest, created by the American Museum of Natural History.

Haida Gwaii Contest Winner

Pictured on the right, is Margaret Elligott, the winner of the Bill Reid Foundation's Haida Gwaii Contest.  With her are her son Jason and soon-to-be daughter-in-law Diana, who will be honeymooning in Haida Gwaii, thanks to this wonderful "gift" from Margaret.

Their honeymoon itinerary, valued at $4,000 was developed by the
Queen Charlotte Visitor Centre
