Absentee Live Auction Bids

If you are unable to attend the Auction, you may place an absentee bid for live auction items by filling out the ABSENTEE BIDDING FORM and faxing it to:  604.682.3310.  The deadline to receive all absentee bidding forms is: midnight, Wednesday, October 26.

Absentee Live Auction Bids
A valid credit card number is required to hold all absentee bids, and  all bids are subject to credit card pre-authorization.

An absentee bid is your written instruction directing the Bill Reid Foundation to bid for you on one or more works of art in the Live Auction. Your bid should be the maximum amount you are willing to pay. 

On Thursday, October 27, the evening of the Auction, an anonymous Bill Reid Foundation representative will confidentially bid on your behalf.

**Note:  The representative will attempt to execute your bid at the lowest possible amount as determined by the minimum selling price and competing bids.

The minimum selling price and bidding increments will vary for each work, and are at the discretion of the Auctioneer. 

If your bid has been successful, we will contact you Friday, October 28th. 

In addition to the successful bid amount, the buyer will also have to pay for any applicable sales tax, as well as shipping costs. All sales are final.
